The system in Cthulhu Clicker is very simple: whenever you tap the altar you sacrifice an innocent life. These innocents are the 'currency' with which you can buy all sorts of upgrades for your sinister cult that worships the Old Gods. With innocents you can level up – and with innocents you can also recruit Lovecraftian creatures of all kinds.

One of the strong points of Cthulhu Clicker is its cute design, which Lovecraft fans are sure to love. Among the creatures you can recruit are cute Deep Ones, Hounds of Tindalos, Byakhees, and Ei'lors. And all of them help you make your sacrifices.

Cthulhu Clicker is a highly entertaining incremental game that's especially aimed at fans of The Call of Cthulhu. It's not an especially original gameplay, but the premise is fun.
